Two weeks later:
- Steph Curry is still injured
- Cavs swept their first two opponents, breaking all type’s of 3 point records in the process
- Spurs and Thunder are providing the best series yet
Two weeks ago, Steph Curry slipped on D. Mo’s sweat puddle and sprained his MCL. Today the MVP has still not played in the second round of the playoffs and is still doubtful to play in-game 4.
The Dubs were playing pretty well without Curry up until last night, when they fell to the Blazers in Portland. With this win, the Blazers become the first team to beat the Warriors twice this season.
Klay and Dray are having incredible series, and I still can’t see the Blazers winning 3 of the next 4 against the Dubs, so I’m gonna have to bury them. Sorry not Sorry.
Pistons put up a ton of effort against the Cavs but just faced a better and more experienced team.
Hornets and Pacers didn’t have what it takes to make it past their game seven’s.
Heat and Raptors are delivering a great series so far through three games, even though both of their big men are now injured.
Cavs took care of business in 4 games against the Hawks while breaking the record for most 3’s in a playoff series and most 3’s in a game, with 25, in NBA History.
Cavs are gonna steamroll through their conference and they might not lose a game during the process. Which makes me think that if the Dubs and the Cavs both make the Finals, it will most certainly be a 3 point shootout.
The Rockets are a sad team who shouldn’t have made the playoffs.
The Clip’s injuries proved to be too great, even though they put up a great fight without their stars.
Grizzlies used 28 different starting lineups this season and are pretty much in the same boat as the Clips, when it comes to the injury situation.
When the Mavs lost Parsons, their future was pretty much mapped out in a first round lost.
Spurs and Thunder are tied up at 2-2 heading back to San Antonio. I predicted that the Thunder could beat the Spurs and even a banged up Dubs squad if their two superstars performed well and they had some help.
Well that’s exactly whats happening now. Waiters, Adams, and Kanter are all stepping up for the Thunder and it doesn’t hurt when your best player has 41 points in a home win.
Whichever team wins this series will see the Dubs and if Steph still isn’t 100%, they might be able to steal a series.
